Benjamin Mixon-Baca, PhD
Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Benjamin Mixon-Baca is the Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Sirius Technology Ventures, LLC, where he serves as the architect of the company’s flagship Threat Hunter cybersecurity software. He is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Arizona State University and is on track to complete his doctorate in 2026. His academic work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity, focusing on censorship resistance, privacy tools, network measurement, and embedded systems security.
As founder and chief architect, Mixon-Baca leads the development of scalable software solutions designed to proactively identify vulnerabilities, detect novel and unknown threats, and deliver actionable insights through real-time monitoring, automated patching, and intuitive dashboards. His vision emphasizes building accessible, reliable, and human-centered defenses that go beyond signature-based detection to meet the needs of enterprises and public sector organizations.
Mixon-Baca specializes in advanced persistent threat (APT) detection, threat intelligence, penetration testing, and AI-driven automation strategies.
